Hi, I’m Dave Kasey Oz, a longtime radio enthusiast and voiceover artist based in Phoenix, Arizona.
Originally from San Francisco, my journey in broadcasting began in the late 1970s while attending college and working in radio. Though I transitioned into a career in IT after college, my passion for radio never left me.
In 2016, I returned to the airwaves through a small low-power community radio station in Sun City West. There, I launched a 2-hour show featuring music from the 1950s through the 1980s. After a listener asked why we didn’t play Smooth Jazz, I created a new 2-hour program dedicated to the genre — and just like that, “Smooth Jazz Sunday” was born.
Now in its 9th year, the show has evolved into the "Cool Jazz Café" — same great music, just a fresh name and a laid-back, restaurant-style vibe. I’ve been a Smooth Jazz fan since its early days in the ‘80s, inspired by legendary stations like **KKSF** in San Francisco and **KYOT** in Phoenix.
In addition to radio, I lend my voice to commercials, TV spots, and on-hold messaging for businesses.
